Oud begins as a wound.

When an agarwood tree is injured, it floods the wood with a dark resin to heal itself.

Over years, that resin turns pale wood heavy, dark and fragrant.

Near Koh Kong, our distiller soaks it in well water, then distills it slowly, over days.

What rises from the still comes a few drops at a time.

Pure oud from the hands that distill it.

Each oil traced to one place, one person and one batch.
